Agamenticus Ski Club – Long Sands 5K Race, Walk and Kids 2K Fun Run – October 25, 2014

Agamenticus Ski Club will be holding it’s “1st Annual Long Sands Beach – 5K Race, Walk & Kids 2K Fun Run, ” October 25th, 2014. The ONLY race in York run entirely on Longs Sands Beach, Maine!

IMG_3581Agamenticus Ski Club was founded in 2011 and is a Maine domestic non-profit corporation organized under Title 13-B: Maine Non-Profit Corporations Act of the Maine Statutes.  Agamenticus Ski Club is the process of becoming an IRS non-profit 501(c) (3) tax exempt organizational status.

Agamenticus Ski Club is a community-based  ski club committed to meeting the needs of a wide range of skiers – including youths, juniors, seniors and masters.  Our mission is to support and build a strong community through educational programs to promote health, fitness and fun through skiing.

The goal of Agamenticus Ski Club is to develop a broad range of programs, events and training opportunities to support recreational skiers and racers throughout the Greater York Region.

Agamenticus Ski Club is a registered New England Nordic Ski Association (NENSA) club: which provides club members with additional affiliated opportunities and discounts.   Please click on membership above to learn more or to join the club.

Carl visits ASC 2013

3x Olympian Carl Swenson visits ASC MS & Youth Programs – Highland Farm Preserve 2013

Friday Feb. 15, 2013 – 3x Olympian Carl Swenson visited the ASC Youth & MS Ski programs.

Carl spent time giving our programs great inspiration & skate ski tips.  He also was the first to ski on NEW skate grooming tracks – thanks to Art Swanson!
